Hi there! My name is Sakshi & I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Construction Management but I also have a background in Civil Engineering.
I love to spend time with family & friends, explore and be in nature, binge Netflix shows, and teach others to assist them in achieving their personal and academic goals.
I am understanding, patient, empathetic and specialised in the subjects that I teach. I achieved an ATAR of 96.25, and have received High Distinctions and Distinctions for University level courses that I have completed.
I have both professional and volunteer tutoring experience. My professional experience involves working as a tutor for students in grade levels 1 – 12 for Ezy Math Tutoring, Cluey Learning, LearnMate & Tutor2You. I have taught both SACE curriculum and IB curriculum. Also, I have worked remotely and in-person as a tutor. The subjects I teach are mostly Mathematics, English & Chemistry. My volunteer tutoring experience was in high school as part of the CAS program.
My strength as a tutor is being able to identify the needs of each student, and then personalise my method of teaching for them. For example, if a student is a visual learner, then he/she would appreciate me going through each step with them, and creating diagrams where appropriate. I have found this approach to work really well. I hope to continue building strong personal connections with my future students to help them succeed.
